International Day of Commemoration in Memory of the Victims of the Holocaust

This day, 79 years ago, marks the liberation of the Nazi Concentration and Extermination Camp of Auschwitz-Birkenau by Soviet troops.

On this day, we reflect and honour the lives of the profoundly affected individuals and countries and the residual trauma that remains decades after this horrific tragedy. This day is an opportunity to reaffirm our commitment as a nation and global community to collectively counter antisemitism, racism, and other forms of intolerance that may lead to group-targeted violence.

We learn from the past. Protect the Future. #WeRemember
