During the week of March 4, DSB1 high school students participated in Regional Skills Ontario competitions. These competitions ranged from 2D Character Animation, Photography, Culinary Arts, and Graphic Design to Carpentry, Electrical Installations, and Cabinet Making. The students worked hard using their creativity, innovation and problem-solving abilities during the course of the competition.
Students who placed in the running will continue to the 2024 Skills Ontario Competition representing District School Board Ontario North East (DSB1) in Toronto, Ontario on May 6 – 8.
To all of the participants: We are extremely proud of each one of you who participated in this event. Success is shaped by the journey and effort you invest along the way; this was shown throughout the week with all your effort and ingenuity. Congratulations!
